The organic layers were separated, driedover magnesium sulfate, filtered, and concentrated. The residueswere purified by silica gel column chromatography and thenrecrystallized in acetone or ethanol to give the requisite productsDM4CzDBPSi, DM2CzDBPSi, DP4CzDBPSi.
